By using The Bible Study App, you agree to these terms. If you purchased through the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where they conflict, these terms govern your relationship with us and Apple's govern your purchase.
What the app is — and isn't
The app generates Bible studies and devotionals using artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude), grounded in displayed Scripture from public-domain translations bundled in the app. AI-generated commentary can contain mistakes. Always verify quotations and claims against an authoritative edition of the Bible — the app gives you tools to do exactly that, and its output is a starting point for study, not a final authority.
The app is not a substitute for pastoral care, counseling, or professional mental-health support. If you're carrying something heavy, please talk to a pastor, counselor, or trusted friend.
Subscriptions and purchases
Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Monthly ($4.99/month) and Annual ($39.99/year) subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in your App Store settings. The Founding Member purchase is a one-time payment granting access for as long as The Bible Study App is offered, limited to the first 500 purchasers. Prices are shown in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.
Free trial
New devices receive a limited number of free studies. Fair-use rate limits apply to all usage to keep the service healthy for everyone.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to extract the service's underlying prompts or systems, bulk-export content through automation, resell access, or use the service unlawfully. We may suspend service to devices that abuse it.
Intellectual property
Bundled Bible translations are public domain. The app, its design, and its generated output arrangements belong to us; you're free to use your studies and devotionals personally, including sharing them non-commercially.
Warranty and liability
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and meaningful updates will be noted in the app. You can stop using the app at any time; subscription cancellation is through the App Store.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
