Common questions
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Restore Purchases in the app recovers an existing subscription on a new device.
Is the Bible text real or AI-generated?
Real. The app never lets the AI type Scripture from memory. When a study quotes a verse, the app looks that verse up and prints the exact published wording. Six complete public-domain Bibles live inside the app (BSB, KJV, WEB, ASV, YLT, Darby), and eight licensed translations come straight from their publishers with the copyright shown: NASB 2020, the New Living Translation, the New King James Version, The Message, the Christian Standard Bible, the Amplified Bible, the Good News Translation, and the Contemporary English Version. Tap "Check this passage" under any quote to read the verse on its own. The commentary around the verses is written by AI, and the app says so on every study. That does not mean it goes unchecked: the verses are looked up rather than typed, the word cards are built from dictionaries stored in the app, and every book cited is checked against library catalogs. How this app is checked walks through all three, and names where the checking stops.
Why aren't NIV or ESV available?
Every modern translation is licensed separately from its publisher. Eight are live in the app today: NASB 2020, the New Living Translation, the New King James Version, The Message, the Christian Standard Bible, the Amplified Bible, the Good News Translation, and the Contemporary English Version. NIV and ESV are separate agreements we are still working on, and they arrive as they land.
